One place to update your profile, appearance, citation defaults, and the services you connect to Academe.
Profile
Update your name, institution, and research interests. Your research interests feed into paper suggestions and the weekly digest. The more specific they are, the better Academe can tailor recommendations.
Appearance
Switch between light and dark mode. Academe also respects your OS-level theme; pick System to have it follow automatically.
Citation style
Set a default citation style, including APA, MLA, Chicago, IEEE, Harvard, Vancouver, and more. Any project can override the default if it needs a different format.
Integrations

Research digest
Turn on the weekly digest for any project. Academe scans new literature matching your topic and emails a short summary, including papers that contradict your current findings, not just supportive ones.
Password & security
Reset your password or change your sign-in method. If you started with Google or GitHub, you can add a password for email-based login alongside the OAuth provider.
